Our customers include Zalando, Kramp, Mediq, Stryker, Wehkamp, Bausch & Lomb, Skechers, ICI Paris, DSV, Kuehne Nagel and many others.    For the KNAPP maintenance team at Zalando, based in Bleiswijk, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager m/f/x. It is Zalando’s biggest and most automated fulfilment centre right now, making use of innovative technology.

The position

You will be end responsible for the proper functioning and long-term maintenance of the KNAPP installation, together with a team of >35 fte. In cooperation with CEVA (3PL) and Zalando the ultimate goal is to get the daily orders shipped on-time and within budget in order to serve the end-customers from Zalando. The primary responsibilities of the Site Manager are:

• Achieving optimal customer satisfaction through delivery of the contractually defined KPI’s and related SLA’s, within fixed budgets.
• Excellent cooperation with the teams of CEVA and Zalando, to achieve successful, long-term collaboration based on partnership.
• Maintaining a strong network and involvement with our headquarters in Graz.
• Leading and motivating the KNAPP maintenance & continuous improvement team (>35 fte), relying on the Resident Site Supervisor for the day-to-day operations.
• Contract management, health & safety, and continuous improvement.

The candidate

• Completed master or bachelor education, f. e. in logistics, technical business administration or engineering.
• 5+ years of work experience in a similar management position. Experience within intra-logistics or in highly automated production environments is a big plus.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
• Customer-focused as well as team-oriented; able to lead, motivate and develop others.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a structured way. Stress resistant.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch, ideally some German as well.
• Highly committed, reliable and sense of responsibility.

You will be located in Bleiswijk and will also have regular contact with peers in the Benelux and in the worldwide KNAPP group, including headquarters in Graz (Austria).
